I have known Chris since I first moved to Dubai, which is 3 years now. He became a good friend of mine and we have always had a lot of fun together. I think it is his personality that makes people to love him. Always happy , full of energy and if needed always ready to support his friends. We owe him a big thank you for being behind many salsa events taken place in Dubai and for taking so many new people, who haven’t heard much about salsa, for a fun trip to salsaland!

Dancing in all its forms cannot be excluded from the curriculum of all Noble education; dancing with the feet, with ideas, with words, and, need I add that one must also be able to dance with the work. The confidence I’ve earned dancing with Famila de la salsa had been contributed phenomenally to my professional and personal life Of all the things I’ve ever done in life’s exciting quest except for loving whom I love, dancing has been the best. I am, as many others, a person who finds passion in dancing & music, & Salsa is one of my favorite themes.

At the beginning of 2007, i joined the team of "Familia de La Salsa", After meeting a very cool dancer Chris, the guy with the 'Braided Hair". I've had a great time with the group, dancing, practicing & helping out With the students, & the least i could say is that this class is a booming Circle of fun, workout, & creativity. Adding to that, the instructor of the Familia himself, Chris, who is by far, one of the most motivational & dedicated member of Dubai Salsa I've ever known. He himself is another story, & another inspiration. Just watch him dancing, & you will feel the salsa vibes attracting you & urging your feet to move & step into the dance floor. Familia de la Salsavwill continue to be my dance "Headquarters" I am still, & will always be part of it, & will continue to give all the support, to my favorite "Familia"...!

I was so lucky to be part of this unique family for a number of years. I cant believe its been 05 years.. Congratulations "Familia de la Salsa" ! This is one of the beautiful things that Salsa can bring to people.. unite them, making all races, nationalities come together as one family. isn't this we need in this world? Personally, Familia de la Salsa means a lot to me.......over the years..Familia de la Salsa made significant contributions to the salsa scene in Dubai, particularly keeping a ‘family feel’ at their salsa classes and every event they support. Their vision is for people from all over sharing, promoting and spreading the Latin dancing via their classes, parties, festivals and their support to the rest of the community in general. It is a great place where you can share your addiction to salsa, feel free to express yourself and share your thoughts and your passion with highly energetic and positive people. Familia de la Salsa - you rock !!!! Keep this wonderful music alive!!!!!

I started dancing LA style with familia de la salsa...great people with so much energy and high spirit .. We had really amazing time together thanks to Royston and Chris and Valerie... The classes were always so crowded and so much fun ...we had the intro and ending music of our classes, which made familia de la salsa so special and unforgettable to everyone. We all had a big smile on our face and we never wanted to leave even when classes were finished, so we were chilling all together after class for chat and socialize and try to plan to go some where and dance more, imagine after tiring day at work. It was impossible to move but don't forget we are familia de la salsa ;-) so we had so much energy after the class and ready to continue dancing and we were dancing for 2-3 hours more and again waiting for another day to go to class and hang out together and share nice and great dance and time together.. I have to mention after our loving Royston left Dubai our dear and enthusiastic Chris kept going and took care of every alone by himself , and he left remarkable dancers and memories behind him and classes . Need to be mention "" dear Chris we really appreciate your endless effort and will never forget how much you are important to us.""

That how we became familia de la salsa .... Thanks guys for developing All the talents and growing our family bigger and bigger...
