The Dubai studio of Familia de la Salsa also provides a talent pool of performers who possess a wide range of dance styles from Salsa, Tango Flamenco and Merengue to Belly Dance and Hip Hop. Latino music bands with guitarists, drummers and vocalists can also be arranged for corporate functions depending on availability.  

Classes of Familia de la Salsa are held at “The Club” at the Dubai World Trade Centre Apartments on Saturday and Tuesday from 8.00 pm - 9.00 pm for beginners and from 9.15 pm - 10. 15 pm  for intermediate and advanced dancers.   
 
Private lessons can be arranged subject to availability. Private lessons are presently held for Emirates Cabin Crew personnel.

In order for us to do the best job possible, we require the following:

  • Stage:  Raised Stage or dance floor (depending on show) covered with parquet dance flooring (or other mutually acceptable smooth dance surface).  Performance Floor must be free of excessive cracks, holes, etc…   Minimum dimensions  21’ deep by 36’ wide  Stage accessible by pre-determined time on date of performance for on site blocking rehearsal. 

  •  Dressing Room:  Secure dressing area with seating, mirrors and hanging rack for costumes. (Note:  We usually use an empty meeting room within close proximity to stage.. Clear are available for warm up/stretch.   Access to drinking water.  Access to lavatory/restroom
  • Technical:  CD Playback with Operator and Amplification.  Any stage lighting (follow spots, stage wash, intelligent lighting), though not required, will greatly enhance the performance, as will proper theatrical stage backdrop or scrim.

  •  Air Arrangements:  Please provide us with your budget for two roundtrip tickets from Dubai U.A.E.to your city.  We will make air arrangements and provide you details for reservation pickup and ticketing or your can send us air tickets..
  • Accomodation:  1 Double Occupancy room for duration of stay.  King Bed, Non-smoking. If 2 couples – 2 rooms

  •  Transfers:  Roundtrip Airport Transfers Airport/Hotel/Airport; also Hotel/Venue/Hotel should the venue be separate from the Hotel.
  • Meals/Per Diem:  Daily Meals or Per Diem.  Please note:  On show dates, we  do not eat a meal until after the performance.  Access to a light meal following the show would be necessary.
